Terms of Service

Last updated: May 7, 2026

Acceptance

By accessing CultureHub or any tenant site operated on the CultureHub platform, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What CultureHub is

CultureHub is a software platform operated by GroupPPS. Cities, regional arts organizations, and cultural institutions ("tenants") use CultureHub to publish information about events, public art, venues, artists, and heritage sites. Each tenant is responsible for the accuracy of the content they publish on their site.

User-submitted content

Some tenant sites accept submissions from visitors — events, callboard postings, artist profiles. By submitting content you confirm that you have the right to publish it and grant the tenant and CultureHub a non-exclusive license to display, format, and translate the content for use on the platform. You retain ownership of what you submit.

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or applicable law, or that a tenant administrator chooses to reject. Editorial decisions about what appears on a tenant site belong to the tenant.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape or systematically copy content from the platform without permission;
  • submit content that is unlawful, harassing, fraudulent, or infringes others' rights;
  • attempt to access non-public parts of the system or interfere with other users' access;
  • use the platform to send unsolicited communications.

AI features

The platform includes AI-generated content — itinerary suggestions, audio tour narration, image identification. These features are provided as helpful tools but are not infallible. Itinerary timings, descriptions of public art, and historical details should be treated as starting points, not authoritative sources. Verify critical details (event times, accessibility accommodations, ticket availability) with the venue or organizer before relying on them.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is." We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your requirements. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GroupPPS's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
